CURTAINS

If you have ever been to our cabin in San Felipe, you know that there are no curtians. Why rush, it has been only 20 years. At night with the lights on, you are inside a fish bowl.
Well, we now have some curtians. I bought some Mexican blankets in town. Took the blankets home to the states.
( measured, zig-zagged, cut, hemmed, vialo simple curtians)
Then to Lowes to buy rods and clip rings.
John Allen and Dennis getting ready to put up the rods.
John putting up the rods.
Did you notice the window frame is still not painted. Maybe manana. When I do get around to painting it, it will be light yellow to match the bricks.

One curtian hung. Slide it open for the day and close it after dark.

Now isn't that beautiful. I have started to decorate the cabin.

I can hear the mariachi band playing in my mind. The swarthy little man sings, "Aye Yay yay yay canta y no llores... porque cantando alegre sean... That song is actually really nice. It says aye yay.. sing and don't cry... because happy you will be if you are singing....

How fun to see pics of the beach house! Love the curtains, they are so perfect! We were so sorry that we missed seeing you guys at the LeDuc/Penrod wedding! Glad you're enjoying the beach though. P.S. Happy Birthday

We had a great time at your cabin. The little work was nothing. The fun in the sun, laying in the hammock, riding the toys.... wish we were there again this week end.
