I have my corn beef in the pot cooking, carrots and potatoes peeled and cut ready to add, cabbage will go later. I need to look on the internet and find a recipe for irish soda bread and our irish dinner will be ready. This is one of my favorite meals.
This was one of my favorite holidays when my family was still at home and I was still teaching school. The whole playground looked green.

I'm 1/2 Irish, but I don't like Corned Beef, so I never make it (we had it when I was growing up - not my favorite!). I admire those of you who are so traditional!
Holy cow I think my eyeballs turned green from the glare coming off the screen! Very nice. I'm so impressed that you change your background so often! You are getting to be a regular little techie! The picture of Dad is really cute I think I'm going to have to take it and put it in my pictures.
