Our fig tree was sick and needed to come down.
It was a beautiful shade tree with a swing.
The grandkids will miss the swing.
I'll miss the figs and shade.
chop chop
one hour later.
This is all that is left of it.
Thanks fig tree for giving us many happy hours. We love you and will miss you.

Boo hoo hoo. I hate it when trees end up as firewood! I am addicted to their cooling shade!
Oh My Gosh! We loved that tree. why wasn't I consulted first!
No tree should have to die an ignominious death! We weep and morn when any tree has lived its life....just like we do for humans! (Specially those of us who REALLY love trees!)
